"Mushroom Man" 48 Hour Print Sale! ๐
Shop Link HERE
A limited time (48 hour) print of En from Dorohedoro. Every print is hand golded and signed. The print is 13in x 17in. Sale ends at 5PM CST on August 27th.I drew this after buying a bunch of art books from the past three conventions. One of the books was "Mud and Sludge" by the wonderful Mangaka, Q Hayashida and I wanted to dedicate a piece to the series as I love Dorohedoro. So to help justify buying all these books, I wanted to sell the original of the drawing. But after getting so many replies asking for prints, we decided to do a limited time sale of them!So here is my interpretation of the wonderful magick mushroom man, En! My favorite villain from reading the manga!

Mushroom Man ๐
I drew this after buying a bunch of art books from the past two conventions. One of the books was "Mud and Sludge" by the wonderful Mangaka, Q Hayashida and I wanted to dedicate a piece to the series as I love their series, Dorohedoro. So to help justify buying all these books, I wanted to sell a fan art creation that added up to the price of the artbooks. So here is my interpretation of the wonderful magick mushroom man, En! My favorite villain from reading the manga! ๐

A Witchy Weekend Sketch
Can you tell I'm already excited for the Drawtober season? I have a fun idea I want to tackle for this upcoming Halloween challenge but it may feel like working double, hence the hands in this drawing lol.
"Moon Sorceress" ๐
This was originally one of my warm-up drawings that I do every morning but then decided to take it further with a bit of powdered graphite! Most drawing days, I wake up, heat some summer tea, then sit down and set an hour timer. From there I let the pencil carve its own path without forcing a direction and letting intuition guide me. Some results work, some don't but either way, it's a fun exercise to start the day!
"Colorblind" Pencil Illustration ๐ค
My character Chase is rapidly losing his eyesight and the first symptom is the inability to recognize color. I'm currently working on the alternative color version of this illustration and will be posting that one next week!
Miss Fortune Teller ⏱
Started this drawing behind the booth at Momocon, adding trinkets to the initial sketch from passerbys and cosplayers! (Also having the heavy influence of "Jibaro" on the brain lol) Eventually it grew into this husk of a character that claims to read your fortune but in actuality, she is whispering a curse, ultimately causing the misfortune to be placed upon you in the near future.
Forgot how much fun it is to be drawing behind the booth while working shows and will definitely be doing this again! Big thanks to everyone who stopped by and if you were wearing something with an "eye" or heavy beading in your outfit, there's a good chance I included it in her wardrobe! ✨

Maiden of Death
"Originally this started as a sketch while watching the Met Gala and then devolved into an homage to villains and absurd fantasy armor concepts."I often forget how incredibly satisfying the actual journey of art making is. But in light of "AI generated" art on the rise and how taken aback I initially was, the past 2 weeks served as a reflection period that challenged what I believe art to be. I debated my good art friends on a live call for hours upon hours with opposing views and a healthy discourse. It re-enforced my opinions of art that I will stand strong with. So after searching for that answer, I've come to my own conclusion that the "process" is just as important as "execution".Art is human in nature and so AI generated art will always feel hollow on some level and while it can be a source of inspiration to some (admittedly the end results are often beautiful in composition, texture and color use), it will never be considered great art in my eyes. And that's okay if you disagree. It's just my opinion and my views are not absolute for all artists. But if I was a younger aspiring art kid again, I would want an established artist that actually stood for something rather than just going with the flow, unaffected or unwilling to speak up when subjects affect our community! Especially when artists nowadays seem to have to battle ever changing algorithms, conforming platforms, competition between artists, NFTs, a rising economic cost of living, and now AI generated art.I'm in this fight as well and I will never give up. I'll always fight for art to head in a better direction then where it's currently heading. I'm a passionate artist that felt subdued the past few years but i'm tired of living in the grey. Time to make some art again and connect with other artists on their own path!

The Queen of Swords ๐ก️
This is the tenth finished illustration in my pencil drawn Tarot deck! This Queen is a formidable figure and represents thinking with clarity like having your head above the clouds. She acts with clear intention, bold and true. The sword is suppose to represent cutting though the noise to see the path that is right for you, regardless if that path seems easy or difficult to traverse through. She embodies strength, especially as someone who has endured plenty in the past and has become a source of strength to herself and those around her because of it.I am working on the full deck and will create a Kickstarter a few years from now when it's complete! So don't worry, I'll make a big post about that when it's happening! ✨
"What More Can I Give?"๐ฉธ
For many artists, IG has been a hurdle the past 8 months and with the changing landscape, it was hard to navigate through. The new algorithm, the push of Reels/video content, and more uncertainties left me with a complete lack of understanding. There was plenty of frustrations that pushed me to a place of desperation, even questioning my work and at darker times, my worth as an artist. Thankfully I no longer believe the "feed the beast" strategy is the way to go. I will be posting less frequently but with pieces that I love and believe are of my own standard/quality again! So to those who follow me on here, thank you so so much for sticking around! Hope you enjoy the new work to come! ๐

King of Spades Illustration ♠️
This King may appear young but his heart is black and rotting with malice. His power grows by the day alongside the fear he instills to those around him.Catching back up on my daily routine and was able to finish this King from my upcoming illustrated merfolk playing card deck!
New 2022 Profile Pic ✨
Every new year I change my profile picture to refresh the page and give it a new look! This was my favorite drawing from last year so it seems fitting! And the illustration was meant to depict the perceived beauty within the frames of what we post between these social media frames all the while wishing to be as common and free as the moth just outside of them! So for me and I'm sure many of you feel this exhaustion with the ever changing platforms and adapting mostly to video content even when you're not a video editor and just an artist at heart lolSo here's to 2022 and making the transition easier and seeing this as a speedbump rather than an impassable hurdle. ๐
The Jack of Clubs ♣️
Forgot to post the first finished drawing of my upcoming illustrated merfolk card deck, the Jack of Clubs! I'm basing the clubs off of the Indian Ocean with plenty of overlapping folds. His body hardened and structured similar to seahorses. He is the younger of two bothers and has been forced to step up as the ambassador of his people after his father's untimely passing.
Also, swipe for a few sneak peaks at the next cards being worked on! My Patreon backers can see ALL the cards progress and backstory in full right now! ♥️♠️
